Look for attorneys who specialize in medical malpractice laws and preferably those who charge a “contingent fee”, in other words you don’t pay much if you lose the case and if you win you pay a portion of the money recovered.  After having lost enough money paying your entire doctor’s fees and hospital bills you surely do not want to burn a large hole in your pocket again.

You could also approach Bar Associations because they have a group of lawyers who look into various aspects of the case. Do an adequate amount of research before you decide. A majority of the court cases are recorded so you might just want to check the credibility of the attorney you decide to hire.

If the attorney is well versed in multiple disciplines of law then you are at an advantage as medical malpractice cases are complicated, one never knows from which situation what claims can arise!
